MEET YOUR TRAINER

Jena Finetti
My passion for health and fitness motivated me to begin teaching group
fitness classes in 1999. I became a certified instructor and have been
teaching a variety of classes over the last 11 years, including step,
stability ball, cardiokickboxing, spin, bootcamp, core, sculpt, stretch, and
meditation classes. After finishing my Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of
Education degrees at U.B.C., I travelled to other countries, including
Taiwan and Australia, to teach primary school and experience and teach new
styles of fitness classes. When returning to Canada, I became a certified
personal trainer and began working as a personal trainer, group fitness
instructor, and program director at Fitness World in Vancouver, B.C.. At
this time, I trained for my first fitness competition and placed first in my
height category and overall. In 2006, my desire to combine mental and
physical health led me to complete a master's degree in counseling
psychology. Following my degree, I moved to Nanaimo, B.C. to start up my own
fitness studio, LiveFit Training, where I currently enjoy inspiring and
motivating others to be healthy and fit.

Kate Fisher
I am a BCRPA certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Fitness Leader. My personal
study of meditation, energy anatomy and Reiki has led me to take a
holistic, balanced approach to fitness and health. I have been studying and
practicing Reiki (an ancient Japanese form of energy healing) for three
years and I have been an avid bellydancer for the past ten years. I put a
strong emphasis on feeling good and developing a strong mind/body connection
through all the services I offer, whether it be personal training, yoga,
bellydance or Reiki. I look forward to sharing my knowledge, skills and
enthusiasm with you!
